WITNESS Hosts Skill-Sharing Training at AWID Forum + Feminist Tech Exchange in Istanbul

Rose Anderson, our Program Coordinator is attending the AWID International Forum on Women’s Rights and Development is the largest recurring event of its kind and brings together over 2000 women’s rights leaders and activists from around the world every few years to strategize, network, celebrate, and learn in a highly charged atmosphere that fosters deep discussions and sustained personal and professional growth.

This year's theme is "Transforming Economic Power to Advance Women’s Rights and Justice." Rose is attending the forum and she'll be hosting a skills-sharing training on April 21st.

In the days leading up to AWID, the Association for Progressive Communications is hosting "Connect Your Rights : A Strategic Dialogue for Women Human Rights Defenders on Digital Security" and Rose will do a presentation with a demo of ObscuraCam during their Feminist Tech Exchange on April 18th.
