Jenni Wolfson
Managing Director
Since 2006, Jenni has been Managing Director of WITNESS. Previously, Jenni worked globally for the United Nations as a human rights advocate for 12 years. In Rwanda and Haiti, she investigated human rights violations, monitored abuses in prisons and detention centers, and trained the military, police, judiciary and local NGOs in human rights standards. At UNICEF, Jenni trained staff from over 100 field offices to respond to the humanitarian needs of children in armed conflicts and natural disasters using programs she developed.
Jenni wrote and still performs a solo play RASH about her experiences as a human rights activist. A native of Scotland, she speaks six languages. Jenni has an MA in Human Rights and an Honorary Doctorate.
