Thank
you for your interest in helping the Hub community - we need you! Hub
volunteers are the foundation of the site and its ability to engage, activate
and empower people around human rights locally and globally.
Below,
please find a list of our primary volunteer needs and how you can get started. Anyone,
anywhere with access to a computer connected to the internet can volunteer to
help the Hub.
However, telling your friends and colleagues is
absolutely the best first step.
Hub Volunteer Opportunities
Research Team
Spreading the word about the Hub to grassroots communities is crucial.
Research volunteers will be an integral part of researching
organizations, networks and groups around the world that could bring
their voices and campaigns to the Hub. Help now
Content Review Team
If you can donate 10 or more hours per week for at least two months to
help the Hub, this might be a great fit. The Hub needs a host of very

uploaded media, events and resources. Help now
Translating and Transcribing Team
To ensure the Hub is a great tool for activists, media, educators and
citizens around the world, we want Hub media, resources and content to
be available in as wide a range of relevant languages as possible.
Please contact us if you're able to transcribe audio or video to make
it easier for others to translate, or if you can translate text, video
or audio on the Hub. The primary languages we will initially need
assistance with are French, Spanish, Chinese, Arabic and Russian. Help
now
Blogging Team
If you're a blogger, we encourage you to write about the Hub on your
blog to help spread the word. Additionally, if you want to write about
stories or issues you see on the Hub, join our network of Hubloggers
here .
Media Editing Team
The Hub needs volunteers that are familiar with editing video, audio
and image content for use online. Tasks may include cropping, resizing,
or converting formats, adding titles and subtitles, and masking the
identities of those who may be in danger. Help now
Data Entry Team
The Hub is always seeking volunteers that can help organize and enter
essential information into the Hub database. We can't over-emphasize
the importance of this crucial team! Help now
Web Training Team

the web, have web programming skills or an idea to make the Hub a more
