Dec. 10 Panel discussion and film screening about the US and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights demands respect for the inherent dignity and equal and inalienable rights of all peoples. The Obama administration has the historic opportunity to reengage with the principles on which the United States was founded while restoring America’s moral leadership at home and abroad.

This panel will discuss the urgent need for the United States to recommit to the human rights and fundamental freedoms called for by the Universal Declaration and the U.S. Constitution.
