Railway Communities Facing Eviction in Kenya: A WITNESS Interview From WSF 2011

Samson Ochieng Ooko talks to WITNESS at the 2011 World Social Forum in Dakar about the situation of more than 11,000 families at risk of forced eviction in the railway communities of Kibera in Nairobi, Kenya.
Representing Ngazi Ya Chini (Railway Dwellers Federation of Kenya), Samson outlines the communities' demands and also speaks about what the international community can to do ensure that these families are adequately resettled and compensated before any eviction takes place.
