Results of mtg w/ President Calderon re Feminicide in Mexico

On March 27, 2009 WITNESS staff, Peter Gabriel (our co-founder), Diego Luna, Saul Hernandez of the band Jaguares, Patricia Cervantes (mother of Neyra Cervantes who was disappeared and murdered in Chihuahua in 2003) and our partners at the Comision Mexicana de Defensa y Promocion de Derechos Humanos met with President Felipe Calderon of Mexico to urge increased attention on the ongoing issue of violence against women along the U.S./ Mexico border.
