WITNESS Visits Macedonia To Work With Partners On The Macedonian Video Adocacy Network Team

WITNESS staffers Ryan Kautz and Violeta Krasnic traveled to Macedonia to provide training and to facilitate the establishment of a Macedonian Video Advocacy Network Team. Filmed during the nine day production/editing training, this video provides a behind the scenes look at WITNESS' first ever network partnership training. The video follows the Macedonian Video Advocacy Network Team as they go through the process of making their first film together.

In the first training reflecting our new campaign model, WITNESS is collaborating with Healthy Options Project Skopje and Macedonian Harm Reduction Network's member organizations on this video advocacy campaign to fight stigma and discrimination against a broad range of communities. The team will serve as a focal point in developing and implementing video advocacy strategies aimed at challenging the newly adopted Macedonian Anti-Discrimination Law, galvanizing civil society and mobilizing affected communities to demand legal and policy amendments from Macedonian authorities.
