Jennifer Freiburger, Executive Assistant

Jennifer provides comprehensive support to the Executive Director and Program Director in their daily functions, including board management, external relations, logistics, and fundraising efforts.

Prior to joining WITNESS, Jennifer worked and studied in Spain, Chile and Mexico. She has also worked with Syrian refugees in Beirut, Lebanon as well as with a fair trade cooperative of indigenous women in the highlands of Guatemala. She completed her Master’s thesis on the effects of economic growth on children’s health and education in emerging market economies.

Jennifer speaks English, advanced Spanish, and basic French. She received a double B.A. in International Affairs and Spanish from the University of Nevada, and an M.A. in Governance and Human Rights from Leuphana University of Lüneburg in Germany.
