Jéssica Ribeiro, Senior Content Coordinator, Communications and Engagement

Jéssica is the Senior Content Coordinator of the Communications and Engagement team at WITNESS, where she helps shape communication strategies, develops content for the organization’s various channels, and supports outreach across the regions where WITNESS operates.

She previously worked with WITNESS Brazil, contributing to programmatic efforts such as in-person and online trainings, strategic planning with partners, and regional communications.

Before joining WITNESS, Jéssica worked in communications for various nonprofit organizations. For five years, she worked at the Brazilian consumer rights organization Idec, where she developed communication and advocacy campaigns focused on the right to healthy food. She has also worked as a freelance journalist for Brazilian media outlets such as Editora Abril and O Joio e o Trigo.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF), and completed a study abroad program in Film and Video at the University of East London (UEL) in the United Kingdom. She also holds a post-graduate specialization in Media, Information, and Culture from the Latin American Center for Communication Studies at the University of São Paulo (USP), and a Master’s degree in Communication also from USP.
