Gina Mutua, Global People Specialist

Gina is the Global People Specialist at WITNESS.  In her role, Gina leads critical HR operations that keep the team running smoothly and effectively. She oversees payroll, manages vendor relationships, and handles a wide range of employment-related matters. In addition, she ensures compliance with all relevant policies and regulations, while serving as a trusted point of contact for day-to-day HR support and guidance.

She has experience partnering with teams and leaders across diverse geographies to deliver impactful people strategies that align with organizational goals and foster employee well-being. Before joining WITNESS, Gina has contributed her skills and expertise to amazing organizations including Change.org, Andela, Digital Divide Data (DDD), and the Busara Center for Behavioral Economics. In these organizations, she supported teams across Africa, Asia, and Latin America. She thrives on connecting with people and building relationships where everyone feels valued, empowered, and motivated to reach their full potential.

Gina holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Management Science & Human Resource from Strathmore University, Kenya. She is based in Nairobi, Kenya.
