WITNESS participated in a conversation hosted by San Francisco based tech company, Neon, discussing how video technology can advance human rights and the role Silicon Valley companies can play.
This year at SXSW WITNESS will be taking part in a panel on the power of metadata to verify and amplify citizen-shot video of human rights abuse. Program director Sam Gregory will also be on hand and available for mentoring sessions.
WITNESS joins 31 organizations from 21 different countries to support proposed efforts to ensure net neutrality in the United States.
